MoonHawk Art began with a shared love of creating and a belief that art can carry stories, memories, culture, and connection. Although our styles are very different, we have built a creative life together that allows each of us to remain true to our own artistic voice.

John brings humor and storytelling into his multimedia work, drawing from childhood memories, culture, and family life.
MaryBeth’s work reflects her love of wildlife and the natural world, with subjects ranging from Oklahoma’s wild birds, animals, and native plants to Cherokee culture, storytelling, and illustration.
We’ve exhibited our work across the country, connecting with art lovers from all walks of life. Today, our work continues to grow across fine art, illustration, educational projects, and products that allow us to share our art in many different ways.
Growing MoonHawk Art Together
MoonHawk Art began as MaryBeth's creative venture, growing over the years alongside her work as an artist and creative entrepreneur. John has also been an artist for most of his life, developing his own distinctive style and body of work.
After we married in 2015, we decided to take our art to the next level together. In 2016, we formed MoonHawk Art LLC and received a small-business loan through Cherokee Commerce. That investment allowed us to purchase equipment and inventory so we could begin reproducing our artwork on a wide variety of products and expand the ways we could share our original art.
Since then, MoonHawk Art has grown by leaps and bounds. What began with two artists and an idea has opened doors we never could have imagined, and we're thrilled to continue creating, growing, and sharing this journey with you.
