Hardcover Blank Journal, GaLiQuoGi, Seven Clans of the Cherokee

Featuring the original artwork GaLiQuoGi (Seven) by Cherokee artist MaryBeth Timothy, this beautiful hardcover journal celebrates the Seven Clans of the Cherokee people through a striking collection of intricately illustrated horses.

Set against a rich blue background, this meaningful artwork brings together Cherokee cultural heritage and artistic expression in a journal that's perfect for writing, reflection, or creative exploration.

The Seven Cherokee Clans Represented:

Each horse represents one of the seven Cherokee clans, reflecting the unique responsibilities, traditions, and contributions that have helped shape Cherokee society for generations.

• Bird Clan – The messengers; traditionally the only ones permitted to gather feathers for ceremonies.

• Wild Potato/Raccoon/Bear Clan – Keepers of the earth; gatherers and gardeners.

• Wolf Clan – The warriors.

• Deer Clan – The hunters and keepers of the animals in the village.

• Long Hair/Twister/Wild Savannah Clan – Keepers of peace and teachers of tradition; the Peace Chief most generally came from this clan.
